My ceramic practice is a celebration of form, function, and the tactile nature of clay. I am drawn to the process—mixing, wedging, molding, and firing Earth’s natural materials—to create objects that connect people to daily rituals. My work allows me to explore the relationship between material and use, making pieces that are both functional and expressive. I share my pottery with loved ones as an extension of myself, offering objects that hold warmth, care, and connection. I embrace spontaneity, allowing ideas to emerge in the making. Each piece carries the traces of its process—the imprint of hands, the way glaze pools and crackles, the transformations that occur in the kiln. While I work with earthy, organic tones, as well as color, texture, and form come together in a way that invites interaction, curiosity, and personal interpretation. At its core, my practice is about experimentation and discovery. I actively seek out different clay bodies and surface treatments, inspired by the natural world and the endless possibilities within the medium. The joy of ceramics, for me, is not only in the making but in seeing my work become part of someone’s daily life—a favorite mug, a well-used bowl, or a sculptural form that sparks conversation and connection.
